The 'Consume Lanzarote' campaign, promoted by the Cabildo together with the municipalities of the island, has moved this week to the municipality of Tías.
In Tías it will be held until Sunday, October 25 and includes the participation of more than 50 companies, so that their customers can opt for checks of 1,050 euros, discount offers in affiliated stores and activities on Friday and Saturday with the opening of an enclosure in the Plaza Leandro Fajardo, next to the hermitage of San Antonio, with workshops and performances.
The Tías City Council has published on its social networks (@ayuntamientodetias on Facebook and Instagram and @AyunDeTias on Twitter) the list of companies that participate in the campaign, by which consumers can purchase products or services and access the aforementioned check raffle after a purchase of 10 euros and registration at www.consumelanzarote.es. In turn, about twenty affiliated establishments in Tías offer discounts or direct gifts for the purchase of their products.
Activities
In addition to these incentives and promotions, Radio Insular will broadcast the program 'El Hilo del Vinilo' live from the Town Hall Square of Tías on Thursday at 11:00 a.m., which will focus on the celebration of 'Consume Lanzarote' in the municipality. For Friday, October 23, the representation of 'Mythology and Women of Lanzarote', by Vicki Dos Santos and Aarón Márquez, has been planned at the Municipal Theater of Tías at 8:30 p.m. with reservation of places.
The activities on Saturday will begin at 09:00 hours in the Plaza Anfiteatro El Pavón with a master class of zumba fitness by the Anmy Rodríguez Dance School. At 10 o'clock the enclosure prepared in the Plaza Leandro Fajardo will be opened, next to the hermitage of San Antonio, with children's workshops of 'Ecoartesanía, by Lovercraft Design "Gardener for a day”, with Carmen Montero Model Agency&Events, and 'Seed paintings', by the cultural recreational association Los Burgaos.
For 11:30 a.m. the performance of Balto Clown, a show aimed at children, and for 12:00 p.m., a storytelling session by the Super Fairy Patricia is scheduled. The choreographer Fran Vega will perform at 7:00 p.m. From inside the enclosure, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can collaborate with the Sporting Tías football club in the solidarity campaign to collect masks for the children of the municipality.
