The Board of Directors of the Tourist Centers will hold an extraordinary session this Friday in which it will bring to approval to withdraw from the lawsuits and pay what is claimed by the workers. Likewise, the new management of the CACT also intends to withdraw the appeal against the ruling that declared the dismissal of the chairman of the Works Committee, Antonio Bonilla, to be unfair.
Regarding the lawsuits filed by the workers claiming the payment of transportation, laundry and availability bonuses for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016, the Board of Directors will bring to approval to instruct the procedural representation of the EPEL-CACT to "immediately" submit withdrawals "of all the appeals on cassation announced and that could have been formalized" by the previous management against the judgments of the Social Chamber of the TSJC that recognized the right of the workers to receive said bonuses, as well as to request the return of the deposits that have been consigned to appeal.
Regarding the workers who filed identical lawsuits without a judgment having been issued yet, the new management of the Centers intends to "initiate conversations" in order to "present transactional agreements recognizing that the EPEL-CACT owes the amounts claimed, setting the costs for late payment and procedural interest and a payment plan for these, requesting a reduction", a matter that will also be submitted to approval.
Likewise, a report will be presented on the procedural situation of the appeal filed against the ruling that declared the dismissal of the chairman of the Works Committee, Antonio Bonilla, to be unfair, with whom they also want to "initiate conversations" with the aim of jointly submitting a document to the Social Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice "whereby both parties withdraw from the appeals".

In the extraordinary session of the Board of Directors, the withdrawal of the senior management contract of José Juan Lorenzo will also be reported given the loss of his status as CEO and the signing of a contract between the Centers and the new CEO, Juan Félix Eugenio, will be submitted for approval.
