The president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, has announced that the Cabildo de Lanzarote will "reinforce the Environment area", and has delegated the powers in authorizations and reports referring to audiovisual productions, photographic reports, sporting and cultural events to be developed in the natural environment to the councilor Ariagona González.

In addition, the president has reported that in the near future "a new coordinator will be incorporated into the area" while "some internal staff transfers will be made to reinforce the human team that processes the authorizations."

"We are aware of the overload of tasks that the service has, since every day more and more producers choose Lanzarote for the landscape, the climate, the lodging plant and the existence of numerous auxiliary services with a high qualification", Corujo pointed out.
