The Argana Baja Neighborhood Association asks the City Council to protect the future areas of public use contemplated in the General Plan

The Argana Baja neighborhood loses future quality of life day by day. The residents feel it, and on behalf of the neighborhood association of the capital city, they ask the Arrecife City Council to intervene to improve the district's facilities. Mainly, in regards to urban planning policy and the future green areas contemplated in the General Urban Planning Plan (PGOU), which they claim are being built on and used as dumps.

A General Plan that, according to them, the Government group "has put aside". In this sense, they request that "personal disputes and partisan interests be put aside and that they fight for the common good of the citizens", which, they understand, is to protect the areas for their use and enjoyment.

As an example, they criticize that the land of the Argana church is being used for the deposit of rubble from nearby works. In turn, they ask the rest of the neighborhoods of Arrecife to review their respective future endowments to see if they are being occupied.

The association also denounces "the numerous vehicles" that are in the vicinity of Las Maretas, the bus stop and the area of the church grounds, because they are being used by those displaced from Rocar as a habitual residence.

They ask the City Council to improve the conditions of the bus stop in the neighborhood since it is ensured that it generates a large amount of dust that affects the numerous users who travel to the General Hospital of Lanzarote with different conditions.

Finally, they request the intervention of the City Council in a vehicle wash that is located on Alfonso XII street, since they denounce that it occupies several streets in the area.
