The strike day of Iberia's ground handling services, except for some delays in baggage delivery, had little impact this Sunday.
According to the Strike Committee, about sixteen operators from other work centers in Spain and forty more brought from Germany appeased the lack of Iberia personnel on the Island. The effects of the protest were minimal this time.
Assault Trial
On the other hand, the trial will be held next Wednesday as a result of the lawsuit filed by the Euraohandling worker assaulted by two British travelers at the Island's airport.
The tourists mistakenly thought that the employee had some responsibility in the late delivery of suitcases and attacked him, accessing a restricted area, but the ground handling services of the flight in which they arrived are the responsibility of Iberia and not Eurohandling.
