The Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas publishes this Wednesday, September 1, the extracts of calls for subsidies for various projects and entities in the municipality of Teguise.

In total, the Council allocates 600,000 euros aimed at nine different areas of action, whose interested parties may submit the corresponding applications from this Thursday, September 2, having 20 business days to submit the documentation.

The 2021 call for subsidies will contribute to the development of projects of entities, clubs, sports associations and schools of municipal interest; entities and associations that carry out their activities in the area of the elderly; in terms of equality, social action or environmental conservation; as well as for the development and maintenance of the agricultural, livestock and fishing sector of Teguise, and the promotion of festive activities, popular events and associations and groups of the 2021 Carnival.

“In each call, Teguise increases the line of aid for its groups, and even more so, taking into account that we must lend a hand to alleviate the effects of the pandemic and thus maintain the quality and well-being of our social, cultural and sports fabric,” says the mayor, Oswaldo Betancort.

For his part, the responsible councilor, Javier Díaz, has made himself available to the groups and people applying for any questions they may have about the procedure, and has announced that “in a few weeks the deadlines will be announced to apply for aid for culture, for educational centers, AMPAs, aid for student transport, so that they all obtain the aid requested during the current academic year”.
