Councilor Rosa Fernández, from the PSC-PSOE, will be proposed on July 9 as mayor of La Oliva, replacing Claudina Morales. This will happen if the motion of censure presented first thing this Friday morning by two socialist councilors and seven from the PP (the latter maintained the nationalist in the mayor's office).

Neither the Popular Party nor the Socialist Party have made the distribution of areas within the City Council official, but according to the popular Luis Vila, "in due course we will give a press conference to explain everything, but I don't want to make any statements now."

According to socialist Juan Jiménez to ACN Press, the motion is presented to deal with the "misgovernment" in the Consistory. Jiménez also recalled that the municipal coffers bear a debt of 12 million euros and that the CC-PP pact has not finished facing it, "endangering the payrolls of the workers."
