The Councilor for Education and Local Development and Employment of the Arrecife City Council, Saro González, announced this Monday her retirement from politics after 4 years of "intense work", as stated in a publication on Facebook.
González has thanked Astrid Pérez "for the opportunity she has given me to be a councilor of my city." An opportunity that has marked "4 hard years", in which "long-term employment has been created and all schools, the facilities of the Animal Protection Center and the cemetery have been improved." Also "to all those who have always supported me, in sadness and in joy, especially my family," highlights the councilor.
"Now I am going to start a new project that I have wanted to embark on for some time," she confesses, making it clear that "she is a convinced entrepreneur." She did not want to forget the citizens "here they will always have me to help them, we'll see each other on the road, be happy," she adds.
In addition, she has taken the opportunity to make clear her faithful commitment to the current mayor "trust Astrid to be mayor again with an absolute majority to relaunch our capital."
