San Bartolomé starts a resurfacing plan in the municipality worth 1.4 million euros

The San Bartolomé City Council has started a resurfacing plan in the municipality worth 1,454,514 euros.

The Consistory has divided the “ambitious project”, as defined by the mayor of the municipality, Isidro Pérez, into lots.

“The works will consist of the regularization of the pavement by spreading a new layer of rolling, which allows a smoother and safer driving, since the asphalt presents superficial aging”, says the Councilor for Works and Services, Raúl de León.

“This forces us to carry out the reinforcement actions of the pavement of these streets, while the vertical signage will be renewed, replacing the elements that are in poor condition and providing the streets with new horizontal signage, with better visual characteristics and technical composition”, adds the councilor.

From the Consistory they point out that this week the works have begun in the town of Montaña Blanca, and the roads that will be paved are El Especiero, El Lagar, El Pino, La Higuera, La Tunera, Las Rosas and Lomo de Tesa streets -from El Arroyo street to Las Rosa street-. Next week they will start in Güime, where the Hinojo, José Marcial Viñoly streets will be improved -from Lz to El Barranco street-, and in La Pared, Los Morros, Temesita, Camino Cancela and Camino del Invernadero streets. These works are carried out by the contractor Hormigones Insulares, S.L., for an amount of 482,908 euros.

In the town of Playa Honda, the company that will carry out the works of Lot 2 will be Herederos de Juan Acuña, S.L. with a budget of 357,737 euros. The Alisios, Anzuelo streets will be resurfaced -from Mirafondo street to Chinchorro street-, Bolardo, Botalón -from San Borondón street to Alisios street-, Carabela, Chalana -from Mástil street to Cuaderna street-, Cordel -from Carretera Las Playas to San Borondón street- as well as Goleta street.

Asphalting work will also be carried out on the Lancha roads -from Cuaderna street to Chinchorro street-, Nasa -from Chimidas street to San Borondón street and from San Borondón to Fayna street-, Pescante, Testeina -from Alisios street to San Borondón street- and branches of Lancha, Alisios and Anzuelo streets towards Mar de Fondo.

Finally, in the town of San Bartolomé, the same company that in Playa Honda, Herederos de Juan Acuña, S.L., will also carry out the works, for an amount of 613,868 euros. Resurfacing will be carried out on Avenida Rubicón, in the Casa Mayor Guerra access, Ajei, Alba, Alcalde Cabrera Torres streets, up to the Karting roundabout, Alquízar, Brumas, in the upper section without transverse exit to Cervantes street, as well as Celemín.

Resurfacing work will also be carried out on César Manrique streets -from Timbayba street to Cervantes street and from Folía street to Circunvalación street-, Circunvalación, including the dead-end section, Cuartillo, El Monte, El Pajar, El Quintero, Juan de Bethencourt, Margarita Martín, Parra, including dead-end section, Pérez Galdós, Plaza del Carmen -from Alfonso XIII street to Circunvalación street-, Rubicón, Seña Balbina, Dead-end alley Calle Timbayba and Camino El Quintero
