These initiatives, coordinated between administrations, are essential to value historical elements that are part of our identity. From the Government of the Canary Islands, we will support this project with the aim that this property, witness to the development of Lanzarote and part of a tradition linked to agriculture and the sustenance of generations, remains present and accessible for the future”.

For his part, the general director of Heritage of the regional Executive, Miguel Ángel Clavijo, insisted that “the mills are part of the history and tradition of Lanzarote, and their conservation is crucial to understand the evolution of the island.
