The San Bartolomé City Council has begun the modernization and adaptation works in all the municipality's playgrounds. For this action, the City Council has invested a total of 2,245,000 euros.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, explains the importance of these works since "they will allow the municipality to have fully inclusive playgrounds, thus complying with neighborhood demands."

"From the City Council and throughout this term, an important effort has been made to improve public spaces, especially those that promote leisure for the youngest in the municipality, so we consider it essential to invest in infrastructure and furniture for them," Pérez points out.

For his part, the Councilor for Public Works, Raúl de León, indicates that these works aim to accommodate play areas with vegetation and recreation areas for the citizens of the municipality in the same space. Likewise, "we will provide the playgrounds with new shade areas and rest areas."

The works are divided into two lots, a first lot for more than 630,000 euros for the playgrounds in the town of San Bartolomé and a second lot of 1,200,000 euros in those of Playa Honda.
