With this new route, Ryanair already offers four destinations from Fuerteventura and three destinations from Tenerife, so Ryanair's operation in the Canary Islands will remain comfortably above 250,000 annual passengers. To celebrate, we are offering the offer of 12.99 euros per journey, with taxes included.
Regarding this new Ryanair route, Maribel Rodriguez, Marketing and Sales Director for Spain and Portugal, said that "Ryanair started operations in the Canary Islands in December 2006 and in just less than 5 months we have transported more than 40,000 passengers to/from Tenerife and more than 30,000 to/from Fuerteventura".
The company says it is very pleased to add a new route that, in its first year of operations, will create 10 new jobs in each region and provide 10,000 extra annual passengers to each of the two airports.
