Raffle for a trip to see The Lion King among those who shop in Arrecife

To celebrate Father's Day, between March 13 and 18, people who spend more than 20 euros in the capital's participating stores will be entered into a raffle.

People who shop in Arrecife between March 13 and 18 could enter a raffle for two tickets to the musical The Lion King in Madrid, with travel and accommodation included. The requirements are: make purchases in the participating stores and exceed 20 euros.

The Inter-Island Federation of SMEs (Felapyme) has launched this promotion to mark Father's Day, which will take place on March 19.

In a statement issued by the federation, they state that the aim of the campaign is to "reward loyalty to local commerce", since among the customers who shop in one of the participating stores between March 13 and 18, two vouchers of €100 each will also be raffled to spend in the participating stores.

From 11:00 a.m. on Friday the 17th there will be a musical performance on Calle Real to encourage shopping in the center.

On Saturday the 18th, also on Calle Real, from 11:30 a.m. you can enjoy live painting and immortalize a special day in honor of fathers, with a photocall.

Meanwhile, on Calle Hermanos Zerolo, from 11:00 a.m., the little ones in the house will be able to unleash their imagination with two workshops: creating photo frames and car hangers.

Lastly, on Saturday there will be a parade of Minnie and Mickey, enlivened with musical performances.

Window display contest

On the other hand, Felapyme encourages establishments to contribute to decorating the entire commercial area. So the participating stores that decorate their windows for this day will enter the window display contest and can win a prize of €200.

These activities are part of the annual revitalization proposal executed by Felapyme with the aim of boosting the commercial area and supporting local commerce in the city with the support of the General Directorate of Commerce and Consumption of the Government of the Canary Islands and the collaboration of the Commerce Area of the Arrecife City Council.
