The Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Mobility of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the General Directorate of Road Infrastructure, directed by Rosana Melián, reports that this Monday, March 31, during night hours, a lane will be closed to traffic of the Playa Honda LZ-2 Underpass.
This action, which is being carried out within the framework of the works of the new underpass in the municipality of San Bartolomé, in the area of the LZ-2. P.K. 2+500, on the island of Lanzarote, will allow actions to be carried out on the rainwater network. In this sense, the outer lane of the northern roundabout of the link will temporarily lose its annular circulation and traffic will be reorganized in the underpass to maintain one lane in each direction of circulation.
The planned duration of the provisional closure is from the night of Monday, March 31, until the completion of the works, which will be in progress for approximately two weeks.
From the General Directorate of Road Infrastructure, drivers are asked to take extreme precautions to avoid accidents and pay attention to road signs.
