PIL and CCN present themselves as a future bet against the political instability of Lanzarote

After the agreement reached between the Party of Independents of Lanzarote and the Canarian Center to go together to the elections to the Parliament of the Canary Islands on May 27, under the acronym PIL-CCN, the president of the CCN and candidate for the Presidency of the Government of the Canary Islands, Ignacio González, and the president of the PIL, Antonio Hernández, have attended this Thursday a press conference where they have defined this pact as "a commitment to the future in the face of the political instability of Lanzarote" and as "an alternative to the failed project of the Canarian Coalition."

The agreement was born to join forces and try to overcome the electoral limits to enter the Canarian Parliament, "imposed by the Canarian Coalition and the Popular Party", according to the president of the PIL, Antonio Hernández, since these limits imply the need to gather 30 percent of the votes at the island level or 6 percent at the level of all the Canary Islands to be able to access the Chamber.

In what Ignacio González has defined as a "decisive commitment to youth", the heads of the list have been confirmed. Isaac Castellano, current parliamentarian of the PIL, will be the head of the list of the joint formation. In return, the second and third place will correspond to Rafael de León and Mareiva Marrero, both from CCN.
