Pedro Manuel Tejera has won the Monturro de Trigo poster contest, which will announce the events that will take place on the occasion of San Juan in the municipality of San Bartolomé. Tejera has won this contest with his work "Fuego de San Juan". The contest has had a total of eleven participants and 13 works presented in free style, as reported by the City Council of San Bartolomé through a statement.
The winner received this Friday the check of 300 euros from the hand of the councilman of Playa Honda, Manuel Rodríguez, who thanked not only the participation in the contest, but the quality of the 13 works presented. The councilor of Festivities Áurea Mauri was also present at the award ceremony.
The jury, composed of Elsa Caraballo, Oswaldo Machín and Pablo Ramos, met last Friday, June 4 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council of Playa Honda to issue its verdict.
