The Papagayo Camping Area will finally open to users next Wednesday and will remain in operation until October 16. This has been confirmed by the Youth Service of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, after the delays recorded in the works that have been carried out in the facilities.

At the time, the Corporation advanced that it would not open on the usual date, although it announced that it would be operational "at the beginning of summer." However, it will finally be from August 10 when campers can enter Papagayo.

According to reports from the Corporation, reservations can be made from this Monday, August 8 to Tuesday, August 9, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., by contacting the telephone number 679 090 619.

From Wednesday, the day of the opening, reservations can also be made in person, at the Camping Area office, or by contacting the telephone number 928 177 778 and the aforementioned 679 090 619, where information can also be requested.

After the improvement works carried out by the Cabildo for an amount close to 800,000 euros, the Papagayo Camping Area has been made up of 284 plots, of which 64 are intended for small tents and the rest for caravans, motorhomes and large tents, at a price of 4 and 7 euros per night, respectively, and for a maximum of 4 people in both cases. For each person over 14 years of age who stays overnight, an additional euro per night must be paid.
