The promoter Federico Díaz de Aguilar, who this Tuesday was facing a trial for the sale of several homes in the Playa Blanca Partial Plan, has gone to the police station to report an alleged assault by several buyers of those houses. This was stated by his lawyer during the hearing, after Díaz de Aguilar left the room after testifying.
In the trial, several buyers are claiming from the real estate company Agueri the money they gave as a deposit to acquire their homes. After making the first payment, they learned that the houses were involved in legal proceedings that have ended up declaring them illegal. Faced with this situation, they decided to back out of the purchase, but Agueri refused to return the money, and they decided to go to court.
Díaz de Aguilar was the first to testify during the hearing held this Tuesday in the Arrecife Courts. After testifying, the promoter left the room, as he apparently had to return to Gran Canaria. However, instead of going to the airport, he ended up going to the police station. According to his lawyer, some buyers were waiting for him outside the Courts and, supposedly, assaulted him.
Federico Díaz de Aguilar is the brother of Ignacio Díaz de Aguilar, who is charged in the "Reyes case" for an alleged crime of bribery, related to the granting of illegal licenses by the former mayor of Yaiza.
