Nueva Canarias Tías denounces once again the "abandonment of the Tías City Council, led by CC and PP with respect to public spaces, by allowing a large amount of debris to accumulate at the entrance of Puerto del Carmen, next to the secondary school and in Tías, in the middle of Avenida Central Alcalde Florencio Suárez Rodríguez, with the damage that this entails to the image of the municipality".
The candidate for mayor for the nationalist formation, Pedro Suárez García, states that the City Council "continues to look the other way, while they dedicate themselves to spending public money on advertising campaigns and asphalt, they do not seem to see how garbage dumps proliferate before their eyes." "Highlighting the inability to have a clean municipality where the law is complied with, by the PP and CC," he adds.
"Unfortunately, the residents of Tías have had to suffer a governing group that does not see, does not listen and, what is worse, does not act in the face of issues as serious as the uncontrolled dumping of debris in our town," says Suárez.
Finally, they state "how they dare to affirm that they will remodel the roundabout at the entrance to Puerto del Carmen, when less than 100 meters from it a garbage dump grows without control." Likewise, "we demand that if they claim to believe so much in landscape beautification, keep our municipality free of garbage dumps and take care of the public areas of the same, which have a high degree of abandonment."
