The president of the Canary Coalition in Lanzarote, Mario Pérez, said this Monday that it would be an "insult" not to take into account the members of the party in the non-capital islands as candidates for the presidency of the Government. "We have human and valuable potential of people without them necessarily being born in Gran Canaria or Tenerife," explained Mario Pérez, thus joining [the claim that the president of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, Mario Cabrera, had already raised->10388]

To this end, CC has created an eastern axis between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura to raise the possibility of presenting a candidate. "Both from Fuerteventura and from Lanzarote our desire is that the person has the sensitivity to unite all the islands and respond to the problems of the Archipelago," said Mario Pérez, who also pointed out that from both islands they hope that the election will be made from consensus and, if possible, unanimity.

The candidate for the presidency of the regional Executive will be known on February 3, the date on which the National Political Council of the Canary Coalition is held. The representatives of the body are based on the triple parity system and also have formations from South America.
