"Recovering the economy and supporting commerce and business owners in a fair and equitable manner." These are some of the proposals presented this Friday night by the Senate candidate for the Socialist Party, Manuel Fajardo, in Playa Honda. The event, which took place in the civic center after a tour of the maritime avenue and a visit to the Senior Center of the town, was also attended by the candidates for Congress and the Cabildo, Ariagona González and María Dolores Corujo, and the candidate for mayor of San Bartolomé, Alexis Tejera.

Fajardo explained the importance of "democratic regeneration and a fair economic recovery in Lanzarote and La Graciosa." For her part, the candidate for Congress, Ariagona González, spoke of "the pride she feels for the achievements made in Pedro Sánchez's government with greater social justice, democratic regeneration, and modernization of our economy."

The candidate for mayor of San Bartolomé, Alexis Tejera, encouraged the residents to vote for "a solid project where we intend to continue our work in the municipality."

For her part, the candidate for the Island Council and current mayor of San Bartolomé, María Dolores Corujo, recalled the achievements obtained in the municipality in recent years and specifically in Playa Honda, "I remember that there was not even a court for the boys and girls, no nursery, no sports center, no parks. I am very proud to have achieved a meeting place with a commercial development that I am convinced will continue to improve Alexis Tejera."
