The tourist town of Playa Blanca intensely experienced the San Juan festival from sunset, with the participation of hundreds of residents and tourists who happily greeted the arrival of summer this Saturday, finally with good weather. The exciting release of three hundred lanterns, the live performances of the bands invited by the Yaiza City Council to liven up the celebration, Última Llave and Boulevard, and above all, the joy and fraternization of the people concentrated on the town's beach, illuminated and inspired the wonderful southern Night of San Juan, which soon spread through social networks.

The San Juan program in Playa Blanca was organized by the Culture and Commerce areas of Yaiza, led by Daniel Medina and Manuela Rodríguez, respectively, councilors present at the festive meeting who appreciate the participation of residents who came from different towns in the municipality and the Island to enjoy the great atmosphere cheered on by live music.

Boulevard lit up the party with the sunset while dozens of people walking along the promenade converged on the beach. The Playa Blanca rock band set a high note with their interpretation of songs in English and Spanish, leaving the plate served for the collective release of lanterns just before the performance of Última Llave.

Entire families released the biodegradable lanterns, made wishes, jumped into the water and continued the party with the Canarian group already on stage. The charismatic and versatile singer Beatriz Pérez and the guys who accompany her in Última Llave kept people up with their touch of pop? rock. Playa Blanca had a very lively Night of San Juan and awaits its festivals in July of the Virgen del Carmen, which are just around the corner.
