The Cabildo of Lanzarote begins an intensive course in hunting control and surveillance, an action that will take place until June 13, and that is especially aimed at environmental agents, as well as the different local police and hunting police.

The Councilor for Hunting and the Environment, Samuel Martín, highlights the importance of this training for the next hunting season in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. “Our job as the Cabildo is to ensure that agents are properly trained and qualified to apply current regulations in the best possible way,” says Martín.

During the course, participants will have the opportunity to update themselves on current regulations and share best practices for hunting control and surveillance. "We have the presence of the Environmental Inspector of the Island Council of Gran Canaria, Juan Carlos Fernández, who will contribute his experience and knowledge in these days that, without a doubt, will be very profitable," details the councilor.

The councilor reiterates the commitment of the Cabildo of Lanzarote to the continuous training of its agents and the protection of the environment, ensuring that hunting activities are carried out in a controlled and sustainable manner. This course is a step towards improving the skills of those in charge of hunting surveillance and control on the Island.
