Óscar Noda, mayor of Yaiza and councilor in the Cabildo of Lanzarote, was on the program Buenos días, Lanzarote on Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero this Tuesday to discuss, among other issues, the creation of the islandist party Juntos por Lanzarote.
This federation of parties is made up of Unidos por Lanzarote, Movimiento Renovador de Tinajo, Marea Viva, Primero Teguise, and furthermore, the intention is for the Plataforma Municipal de Haría to also join.
Despite not yet being registered with the Ministry of the Interior, Noda has announced that they are defining the statutes and other aspects of this new political party, so its registration could be completed in March.
Furthermore, on the program, he assured that, in general, "people were waiting for something like this that doesn't really come with political ambitions or personal ambitions, but rather a project that truly works for our people, for our family, for our land... and I believe that's what we're going to do and what's on our minds."
