The Haría City Council has participated in the Animundo 2024 fair, held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which took place on Friday 27, Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September. These days focused on raising awareness about animal welfare. During the weekend, talks on the adoption and care of pets, dog shows and training workshops were held for owners and veterinarians.

During the event, the councilor participated together with the veterinarian, director of Mascoteros Veterinary Centers and president of the Mascoteros Foundation, Carlos Rodríguez, the coordinator of the Animal Welfare Area of ​​the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Ruimán Duarte and the Minister of Animal Welfare of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Aroa Revelo.
