The Haría City Council has made a positive assessment after the celebration of the municipality's carnivals, which concluded last Sunday, March 23. These festivities, which brought together thousands of people and took place without incident, position the northern town as a benchmark for the Carnival of Lanzarote.
The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, thanked all the entities involved for their collaboration. "We want to congratulate the security forces, Civil Protection, the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium, and the workers of the City Council for their work, as well as the citizens who have demonstrated exemplary behavior during the festivities."
"We are very satisfied with the development of the carnival and the large influx of public, who have been able to enjoy a program with outstanding events such as the Inclusive Coso, the Tony Tun Tun concert, and the Family Gala," concluded the mayor.
Looking ahead to next year, the Haría City Council is working to continue improving the experiences of both residents and visitors. Among the measures to be addressed are the conditioning of new parking areas, the reinforcement of connections, and the extension of bus schedules to facilitate travel.
The municipal council reinforces "the commitment to continue offering a quality carnival that continues to improve each year, consolidating Haría as a benchmark for these festivities in Lanzarote."
