[Aer Lingus->http://www.aerlingus.com] , the national airline of Ireland, continues to increase connections with the Canary Islands, and especially with Lanzarote, announcing one more flight on the route to Cork, in the south of Ireland. This new flight will be on Thursdays and will operate during the winter, starting on October 30th. Together with the existing ones on Tuesdays and Saturdays, there will be a total of three frequencies between Lanzarote and the city of Cork.

During the winter season, therefore, Aer Lingus will offer weekly from Lanzarote 3 flights to Cork, 3 to Dublin and 3 to Belfast, the newly opened base in Northern Ireland. This represents the largest operation of any airline between Lanzarote and Ireland.

The region of the counties of Cork and Kerry, with a coastline of 1,000 kilometers, offers a spectacular landscape of contrasts with its green mountains, rivers and lakes. Its temperate climate invites you to visit it at any time of the year to enjoy its picturesque villages, its historic ports and its numerous golf courses.

ASOLAN positively values this new connection that will allow the island of volcanoes to continue growing in the Irish market, where Lanzarote receives about 200,000 tourists annually, almost 50 percent of the Irish who visit Spain.

In turn, residents of southern Ireland will benefit from this additional connection, being able to get closer to the beaches of Lanzarote with greater schedule flexibility.

Fares for flights from Lanzarote to Cork will be available from 74 euros each way, taxes included, to fly between October 28, 2008 and January 11, 2009.

Flights can be purchased online at [www.aerlingus.com->http://www.aerlingus.com], through any travel agency or by calling the Aer Lingus Reservations department 902 502 737.
