The general secretary of CCOO in Lanzarote, Vicky Sande, as well as the head of Contracting of the Arrecife City Council, Elena Martín, daughter of Dimas Martín, had to testify this Wednesday as witnesses before the Prosecutor's Office about the allegedly irregular invoices charged to the Arrecife bus service. CCOO brought these receipts to the attention of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, in which, supposedly, among other things, the repair of cars "of some councilor or worker of the Consistory that were paid by the City Council" was contemplated.

Faced with this complaint, the prosecutor called Vicky Sande, representative of the union that brought these invoices to the attention of the Prosecutor's Office, as well as Elena Martín, as head of personnel contracting, to testify. Both testified as witnesses.

The general secretary of CCOO on the island entered to testify at 10:15 a.m. this Wednesday and was answering questions from the prosecutor until after 12:00 p.m. During this time, she provided "more evidence and documentation from the 2007-2010 period" on alleged irregular invoices for the bus service.

"There are certificates, invoices and issues that do not correspond to reality," says Sande, who assures that now we will have to wait "a few months" to know the resolution of the Prosecutor's Office.

It should be remembered that CCOO had access to these invoices after the current government group brought the privatization of the buses to the plenary session, arguing that the service was "deficient".
