The Contentious-Administrative Court Number 1 has annulled the licenses that allowed the construction of the annex of the Gran Castillo hotel, located in the Las Coloradas Partial Plan.
The hotel occupies plot number five of this plan, and is located next to the Papagayo Arena, also with a court ruling against it.
This new ruling raises to 23 the number of hotels whose licenses have been annulled by the Justice, out of the 27 that were appealed by the Cabildo. The other four open processes are already awaiting sentencing.
