The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Department of Public Works, headed by Jacobo Medina, announces the closure of the southern access to the Los Cuarteles roundabout in the early hours of this Tuesday.
"We are closing the road to speed up the improvement works on the new lane that will give direct access to the Titerroy neighborhood, thus fulfilling another phase of the improvement plan for the accesses to the General Hospital of Lanzarote," explains the vice president and Councilor for Public Works, Jacobo Medina.
It is estimated that the lane closure will occur between 10:00 p.m. this Monday and 6:00 a.m. this Tuesday, although new closures may occur in the early mornings of the following days of this week.
It should be remembered that this work, carried out with funds from the Cabildo of Lanzarote, has an investment that amounts to 603,312.8 euros, and the company Hormigones Insulares is in charge of carrying out the work. In addition, it should be noted that the Island Corporation already opened the northern branch that gives direct access to the Argana Alta neighborhood to traffic earlier this year.
Once again, from the Department of Public Works of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, we ask road users to drive with caution, respecting the provisional signs, take alternative routes and know how to excuse the inconvenience caused.
