The CCOO union concentrated this Thursday morning in front of the headquarters of the Island Directorate of the General State Administration in Lanzarote, on the occasion of the Day for Decent Work, which is commemorated this Friday, October 7.
In this way, as explained by the head of Trade Union Action of CC in Lanzarote, Ramón Pérez, the union shows its rejection of the current situation and demands "decent and higher quality employment." "We also defend public services, which are being dismantled, and we are against the mass layoffs that are taking place," adds Pérez.
The concentration took place at 12 noon but, according to the union, a previous assembly was held in which about 150 people participated.
