Barragán states in a statement that a pre-campaign and campaign full of "insults and disqualifications" has not been enough, recalls that on the eve of the day of reflection "we were called thugs and accomplices of a theft and, however, now, through intermediaries with a lack of scruples, we are asked to betray our political project and fall into the arms of the supposed Messiah."
"That is the path they preach; that is the political regeneration with which they fill their mouths. The PSOE is once again starring in a new episode of lack of ethics. A political aggression in capital letters," he adds.
"We warn the PSOE that the only thing they achieve with their tricks and shenanigans is to reinforce us in the conviction that the Canary Islands do not deserve those who practice political filibustering. It is possible that this is their natural habitat, but we reject this type of political school. We do not know who is behind it, who gives the appropriate instructions; but no one moves in that line if they do not have the support of the highest leaders of the organization," Barragán indicates
The Secretary of Organization of CC maintains that "it is up to the PSOE, as the winning force, to open negotiations, but with fair play. Salon meetings are useless if they are then multiplied by errand boys specialized in operating in the sewers of politics. What is hidden behind is, simply, the search for power for power."
Finally, Barragán emphasizes that "whoever swims in the mud runs the risk of the mud reaching their neck and that, obviously, prevents freedom of movement."
