The Local Committee of the Canarian Coalition in San Bartolomé expresses its concern about the loss of “three subsidies for the financing of training projects in alternation with employment-Youth Guarantee”, for young people from 16 to 30 years old, co-financed by the Youth Employment Operational Program 2014-2020, for the year 2021, due to “error in the processing of the same”.

The nationalists maintain that they do not quite understand “how it is possible that in the section corresponding to the name of the promoting entity, that is, the City Council of San Bartolomé, the proper name of a person appears”. The formation details that for this reason, the subsidies for the projects “Creando Red”, “Dinamiza2” and “San Bartolomé with renewable energies” have been denied.

From the Canarian Coalition they point out that the Canarian Employment Service has considered that the entity that appears in said section “is not accredited in the registry of Vocational Training for Employment Entities of the Canary Islands to teach the corresponding Certificates of Professionalism: ENAE0111”.

“For the moment, those three projects have been lost and, with it, the possibility of hiring and training more than 50 young people from the municipality, something really serious taking into account the delicate economic and labor situation we are experiencing in the municipality. The sector with the highest unemployment rate is left out because the City Council has processed the documentation incorrectly”, lamented the local secretary of CC in San Bartolomé, Eduardo Díaz.
