The representative of the Nationalist Group in the Board of Directors of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers, Samuel Martín, has accused the new CEO, Benjamín Perdomo, of "trying to deceive the citizens and wasting public money by announcing the signing of agreements that, in reality, already exist".

The CC-PNC councilor thus refers to the latest press release sent from the Centers, in which the agreement reached by Perdomo with the president of the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin of Lanzarote Wines was highlighted to allow the entity's restaurants to offer their customers all the varieties of wine produced in the 19 wineries associated with the wine entity.

"The Tourist Centers have not only been selling Lanzarote wine in their stores and restaurants for many years, but they also act as a springboard for the launch of other local products", says Martín, who also points out that there is an agreement with the Regulatory Council for the commercialization of Lanzarote wines in the Sustainable Native Market, MAS Campesino, located in the old Plaza de los Artesanos of the Farmer's Monument".

"We are in favor of executing all the plans, projects and agreements that are necessary to promote our products and our brands and that they occupy the place they deserve in the local, national and international market, but what we are not going to allow is that public money is spent selling projects and agreements that already exist for a minute of glory in the media", the nationalist emphasizes.

In this way, the CC councilor believes that "Benjamín Perdomo has not only been wrong in announcing an already existing agreement", but considers "out of place that said agreement has taken place in Madrid, within the framework of Madrid Fusión, as if the Regulatory Council did not have offices in Lanzarote".

Thus, the nationalists advise the CEO of the Centers "to stop selling smoke and looking for excuses to take photos at the expense of public money and get to work".
