The Corporation has enabled a telephone number and an email through which you can make inquiries and report environmental violations that occur on the island, in order to "bring the body of Environmental Agents (AMA) of the Cabildo of Lanzarote to the citizens." Likewise, the service has been linked to the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 of the Canary Islands for emergency situations.

“It is very important to have the cooperation of citizens, conservation associations, tourism agents, etc., and that they can inform environmental agents of incidents that occur in our territory,” says the Minister of the Environment of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Elena Solís.

As Solís explains, through the telephone 928 598 548, which will be operational "24 hours" a day, seven days a week, you can contact the Environmental Agents of the Cabildo.

In this regard, the counselor details that there will always be "a couple of agents on duty" and, in case due to schedules, actions or lack of coverage in compliance with their functions they cannot answer the phone, "you can leave a voice message providing the data", or alternatively send an email to agentesMA@cabildodelanzarote.com. “If it is an environmental emergency, citizens can call 112 directly,” adds Solís.

The Minister of the Environment of the Cabildo also wanted to highlight the work carried out by the guard and the eight agents currently in the area. “I am extremely happy with their willingness, their knowledge of the environment and the work they carry out in the conservation, surveillance and care of the environment and the natural environment of the island”, concludes Elena Solís
