The Cabildo of Lanzarote has awarded the service consisting of drafting the Study of Alternatives and Project for the Recovery of the seabed and coastline of the Charco de San Ginés, in Arrecife. An action that is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the framework of the Sustainable Urban Development Strategy ‘Conurban Azul’ and has an investment of 45,946 euros.
The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, stressed the importance of projects such as this one "for the conservation and rehabilitation of the historical heritage of the Island and, in this case, of an enclave as well known and relevant to the capital of Lanzarote".
“In the environment, the seabed, the accesses and the Cascada del Morro de La Elvira will benefit from these restoration and conservation actions, giving a new and improved image of the Charco de San Ginés, an area so busy and known by the local population and by visitors to the Island”, said Dolores Corujo.
The company in charge of carrying out the drafting of the project will be LC30 Consultores, Ingeniera, Arquitectura y Construcción, S.L., and the duration of the contract will be four months after signing it.
