The session held this Tuesday in the Parliament of the Canary Islands has left a peculiar anecdote, when the seat of the Lanzarote PP deputy, Ástrid Pérez, broke.
"Things that happen," the president of the Chamber, Gustavo Matos, published on his Twitter account, reporting what happened and making public two images of this episode.
Although Pérez has not fallen, the seat has swayed. One of his group colleagues then interrupted the session to warn the president, showing the leg of the broken chair.
From the PP group they have joked with the situation, which has not left consequences, but scenes of laughter from Ástrid Pérez herself.
Finally, Chamber workers have come to remove the seat and place a new one, and the session has continued.
