The Arrecife City Council continues, through the Department of Public Works, with the maintenance and repair work of the city's public spaces. A plan that in this mandate has been reinforced by the impulse of the mayor of the city, Yonathan de León.
The Public Sector Contracting Platform has inserted the official tender of the Arrecife City Council for "the supply of construction and hardware material for the maintenance of public spaces and municipal properties." The base amount for two years reaches the amount of 683,200.00 euros. In this tender, according to the specifications, the possibility of two annual extensions is established, of 1 + 1, reaching the investment for these materials in 1,366,400.00 euros.
In the technical and administrative specifications, the municipal technical engineer of the Public Works Area details that "it is necessary to increase the economic amounts for this tender given the significant price increases that construction materials and their derivatives have registered".
Companies wishing to participate in this new official tender of the Arrecife City Council have until April 14 to submit their economic proposals and technical documentation.
Mayor Yonathan de León, who is also directly responsible for the Department of Public Works, has among his objectives for this second part of the mandate to continue with the plans to improve the public spaces of the capital of Lanzarote, especially in the neighborhoods, and redouble the maintenance and conservation tasks of public spaces, roads, and municipal buildings.
