The Arrecife City Council has put out to tender this Wednesday the paving and sidewalk works of 48 streets in different neighborhoods of the capital. The works will be carried out within the 2015 Asphalt Plan, which will involve an investment of 1,326,000 euros.

Among the streets that the City Council plans to pave soon are some main avenues of the city, such as José Antonio Street, Doctor Gómez Ulla and Alcalde Ginés de la Hoz Avenue. In addition, the plan includes the paving of the access to the C.E.O. Argana and the roundabout of the School of Fisheries. These works will begin after the procedures of adjudication and public exhibition. 

The Department of Urban Planning, Roads and Works will invest in the year 2015 "more than three million euros in works aimed at improving the road network, the conduction of rainwater and sanitation, lighting, accessibility and elimination of architectural barriers, among other works of adaptation of the urban environment", explain from the City Council.

The rest of the streets on which the works will be executed are Alfonso XIII, Felipe II, Fernando el Católico, Toledo, Temisa, Muyay, León Felipe, Campoamor, Isas, Saltona, Aires de Lima, Claudio Toledo Cabrera, Santiago Alemán, Leopoldo Díaz Suárez, Sabín Berthelot, Torriani, EL Isleño, El Valbanera, La Pardela, Tegala, Tegaso, Tindaya, El Rafael, Pamplona, El Vicente, Navarra, Tilama, La Joaquina, La Fermina, Tebete, Tenique, Ciudad Real, Madrid, El Antonio, José Pereyra Galviaty, Jerez, Ángel Ganivet, Cuenca, Coronel Bens, Tenerife, Cuba, Laguna and Chile.
