The Biosphere Reserve Area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and the Department of Culture of the City Council of Arrecife will offer the children's public a summer of activities that combine fun and environmental education.

To this end, the Chinija Creative Summer University moves to the municipal historical archive, in the middle of the coastal avenue, to offer workshops, outings and talks to schoolchildren between six and twelve years of age during the two fortnights of August, from the 1st to the 14th and from the 19th to the 30th, from 9.30 am to 12.00 pm. On this occasion, adult accompaniment will not be necessary, but a prior registration through this link will be required.

The reservation, which guarantees free access during the two weeks chosen, will be made in order of request; once the capacity is reached, a waiting list will be opened. The place may or may not be extended to the second fortnight depending on demand.

The proposal has been designed and coordinated by the company Tágora, responsible for the selection of people responsible for each training action and for providing the necessary materials for its development. Workshops on the creation of bags, lace and braiding; musical storytellers; games around cooperation and the environment, artistic and recycling activities are some of the proposals of a program that promises as much distraction as learning.

The Councilor for Culture, Abigail González, and the Councilor for the Biosphere Reserve, Samuel Martín, invite the families of Arrecife to benefit from this offer of children's dynamization and conciliation, in which adults are always welcome.
