Arrecife launches competition for the poster announcing the San Ginés festivities 2018

The Arrecife City Council, through the Department of Festivities coordinated by David Duarte, has announced the competition to choose the poster announcing the upcoming San Ginés festivities. According to the rules, all natural persons of Spanish nationality and of legal age who wish to participate may do so, with a maximum of two original and unpublished works.

The deadline for submitting works to the General Registry of the Consortium is June 22. The theme must be inspired by the city of Arrecife and/or the patron saint festivities. The pictorial technique may be free (oil, acrylic, pastel, mixed, etc.) as long as it does not hinder its printing and reproduction. The bases are published on www.arrecife.es.

The winner will receive a cash prize of 1,100 euros and the informative and promotional dissemination of their work. The winner's design will become the property of the Department of Festivities of the Arrecife City Council, "who will enjoy exclusively and without temporal limitation all rights of disclosure, distribution and exploitation of the work."

For the awarding of the prize, a jury will be formed by a minimum of three people and a maximum of seven related to culture, in addition to a public worker of the City Council of Arrecife, who will act as secretary, with voice but without the right to vote.
