The Arrecife City Council has authorized the construction of a large commercial area in the Argana Alta neighborhood, at 7 Tenderete Street, where there are currently some warehouses that will be demolished. The new building, promoted by the Canarian company Dinosol Supermercados, S.L, will have two floors and a basement, plus 303 parking spaces.
The property authorized this Wednesday will be built on a plot of almost 8,000 square meters and the constructed area will be 12,842.88 meters, according to the favorable reports from the Technical Office.
Along with this project, the Governing Board chaired by the mayor, Ástrid Pérez, has also authorized other private interventions in the capital. On the one hand, it has given its approval to the ratification of the license of a building, between party walls, of two floors and a basement, destined for 20 homes and 20 parking spaces in the San Francisco Javier neighborhood. In this same neighborhood, the extension for the promotion of 24 semi-detached houses, near the Vía Medular and the Arrecife Civic Center, has also been granted this Wednesday.
"These licenses prove that companies and investors continue to trust in the present and future of Arrecife," said the mayor, who says that together with her government group she proposed "accelerating the procedures for granting urban planning licenses to promote private investment and new employment."
The first mayor emphasizes that these new buildings are "promoted by solid companies" and "will generate new jobs and boost the local economy with the launch of these constructions in this year 2021, still burdened by the pandemic."
