Armando Santana, candidate for mayor of Arrecife for Nueva Canarias, is committed to transforming the current sports court in the Plaza de los Luchadores de Altavista into a modern covered pavilion, the candidate reports.
This innovative initiative proposed by Santana has the main objective of "providing a quality and comfortable space for athletes and fans who visit these facilities", he comments.
The project to convert the sports court into a covered pavilion will be carried out in order to adapt to the needs of the numerous users of this venue, he says. "We understand the importance of having an adequate space for the practice of various sports and this would be a great opportunity to achieve it," Santana points out.
With a roofed structure, the new covered pavilion will be able to "offer a series of advantages that will benefit both athletes and spectators," he confirms.
With this transformation, users will be able to enjoy "sports activities without worrying about the weather," he adds. "Whether it's rain, intense sun or wind, the pavilion would offer complete protection, allowing events to take place without interruptions and without compromising the performance of users," Santana makes clear.
