New Generations of the Canary Islands has designated Ana Hernández as president of the Transitory Government Commission of New Generations of Lanzarote, marking the beginning of a new stage for the youth organization of the Popular Party on the island.
Ana Hernández's appointment occurs with the "objective of strengthening and reorganizing the structure of New Generations in Lanzarote, promoting a project that reinforces youth participation and promotes the values of the Popular Party on the island." The Transitory Commission will be focused on consolidating territorial work, attracting new affiliates, and ensuring that the young people of Lanzarote and La Graciosa have an active voice in island and regional politics.
Miriam Vega, president of New Generations of the Canary Islands, has highlighted that "the designation of Ana Hernández responds to her commitment to the organization and her capacity to lead this process with energy and determination. We are convinced that her management will be key to continuing to strengthen our presence in Lanzarote and offering a space for real participation for young people."
For her part, Ana Hernández has expressed her gratitude for the trust placed in her and has assured that she will assume this responsibility firmly. "NNGG Lanzarote will not be a simple appendage of the Popular Party on the island, but an active youth organization, with its own voice, that will defend the needs of young people and claim the space that corresponds to us. We will work so that the concerns of our generation are heard at all levels: municipal, island, autonomous, and national."

The Transitory Government Commission will have as priorities the promotion of youth employment, access to housing, the improvement of education, and the political participation of young people, aligning with the axes marked by New Generations of the Canary Islands and Spain. With this appointment, New Generations of the Canary Islands reaffirms its commitment to consolidating a strong youth structure in Lanzarote, promoting the active participation of young people in the political and social life of the island.
