A trawler ran aground near the Castle of San José. Apparently the bottom was too high and with low tide the access became difficult. The ship, which has the name "Mar Rojo" remained immobile all night, and until Tuesday morning it could not be towed to Puerto Naos.

The towing work was facilitated by the rising tide that made the ship, sixty meters long, leave without complications. The ship is Canarian and has no damage to the structure. Nor, despite the spectacular nature of the braking that caused the grounding, were there any personal injuries to regret.

The crew members collected the work material and waited for Tuesday morning for the tide to rise and tow them to a safe area. The causes of this small incident are believed to be related to a distraction in not seeing the buoy warning system.

The Mar Rojo was developing a biological campaign to study fishing on the coasts of Morocco. Soon and without problems it will resume its daily activity.

On the other hand, the workers of the Castle restaurant witnessed the grounding and say that it is not the first time they have seen ships immobile at that point in the port.
