The General Directorate of Emergencies, based on the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), has declared a pre-alert for wind from 12:00 hours this Wednesday in Lanzarote.
Strong and very strong gusts of wind are likely to reach or exceed 60 - 80 kilometers per hour. The wind will blow from the west and southwest moderate with strong intervals, especially in the highlands and the summits, the northwest and east slopes and southeast of the islands.
This pre-alert is added to the orange warnings for storms and rains that will be active until 3:00 p.m. In addition, the yellow warning for rains on the island will come into effect this morning.
