When will the Arrecife Youth Center be ready?

"Nine months have passed since the Corporation took office and during all this time we have not had any knowledge of any action" in the Youth House that, the popular ones remember, has been closed since the end of 2006. For this reason, in the next plenary session, the PP Group will present a series of questions to the mayor of the capital, Enrique Pérez Parrilla, in order to shed light on the current situation and the commissioning of these facilities.

The PP reproaches that as a consequence of the rehabilitation of the Youth House building, "the offices and services of the Department of Youth are transferred to a nearby building", which does not meet "the necessary conditions to adequately meet the demands of young people". The popular ones will ask for explanations about the owner of this property.

They also criticize that many groups "that carried out their activities in the Youth House have been left without a place or place to develop their concerns" and ask the City Council to date the commissioning of the Youth House.

The PP Group wants to know what exactly the Arrecife City Council has done to rehabilitate the Youth House during these nine months of mandate and what is the current situation of these facilities.
