The young majorero timple player, Víctor Estárico presented his new musical project "Antología del Timple", on the occasion of the seventh White Night of Teguise in the Clavijo y Fajardo square located in the historical complex of La Villa. The new show of the timple player from Antigua, is based on a journey through the most significant works that the performers of other generations were opening paths to the execution of the Canarian instrument par excellence.
Estárico captivated the audience gathered there with a very personalized version where he addressed during the concert the most important works that have sounded with this instrument in the hands of the greatest timple players such as; Totoyo Millares, Casimiro Camacho, Agrícola Álvarez, Benito Cabrera, Domingo El Colorao and José Antonio Ramos. Compositions such as La Retamilla, Aires de Tambor or Nube de Hielo among others, sounded for the first time in the same recital. In La Villla. The viewer had the opportunity to take a trip through music with some of the most representative compositions of the historical repertoire of the timple. Once again, the young timple player demonstrated that the instrument has experienced an important evolution in recent years both in its construction and in its diffusion throughout the world. Víctor Estárico with this new musical project "Antología del Timple", wanted to pay tribute to those generations of timple players. Before leaving the stage and at the request of the public, Estárico and his musicians presented him with several encores.
