Canal Gestión has announced that the leak in the underwater pipe that supplies water to La Graciosa "has been repaired and, for the moment, everything is working normally."
The pipe suffered a break last Saturday but could not be repaired until this Monday when specialized divers were able to travel to the eighth island. However, according to the company, the water supply has not been affected.
This pipe is not the first time it has suffered a breakdown, as last year it had up to six breaks, causing a major supply problem on the island in the middle of summer.
