Maritime Rescue has rescued two boats in the early hours of this Monday near the coasts of Lanzarote, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
There were 106 people of sub-Saharan origin traveling in the two boats, who have been transferred to the Arrecife Commercial dock, where they have been attended by Red Cross volunteers.
According to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center, among the occupants there were 82 men, 18 women and six minors. In addition, two people have been transferred to the Molina Orosa hospital, one of them a baby.
